Privacy Policy

Luqta GG ("the app") helps you discover free game giveaways. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app. There are no user accounts and we do not sell your data or show ads.

What we collect

• Steam ID / profile you enter (optional). If you link your Steam account, the ID, profile link, or custom name you enter is sent to our server only to look up your publicly visible owned games (so we can hide games you already own). It is not written to any database; it may appear briefly in our host's standard request logs, which Vercel retains and then deletes. The resulting list is cached on your device.
• Push notification token (optional). If you enable notifications, your device registers with Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging, which issues a registration token and a Firebase installation ID. OneSignal manages that token on our behalf so we can alert you about new free games. You can turn this off anytime in the app or your system settings.
• On-device preferences. Hidden games, excluded platforms, the titles and IDs of games you already own, your linked Steam ID, notification and reminder settings, your theme choice, and whether you have seen the walkthrough are stored locally on your device only.
• Usage analytics. We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data — a fixed list of in-app events (for example, enabling alerts or tapping share), a randomly generated device identifier, and approximate location (country/region, derived from your IP address) — to understand how the app is used and improve it. This is not linked to your real-world identity. We do not record your screen, and we do not automatically capture what you type. You can switch analytics off at any time under Settings → Privacy, where your analytics ID is also shown so you can quote it in a deletion request.

We do not collect your name, email address, password, contacts, precise location, or payment information, and we never sell your data.

Third-party services

• Steam Web API (Valve) — to read your public owned-games list.
• GamerPower — source of the free-games feed. Your device also loads game artwork directly from GamerPower, so it receives your IP address.
• OneSignal — delivers push notifications. See OneSignal's privacy policy at onesignal.com/privacy_policy.
• PostHog — privacy-friendly product analytics. See posthog.com/privacy.
• Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — delivers push notifications to Android devices. A device registration token and a Firebase installation ID are processed by Google. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
• Vercel — hosting for the app's backend.

Data retention

Your Steam ID is processed in real time to fetch your games and is not written to any database. Data stored on your device remains until you clear it or uninstall the app — “Unlink & clear synced library” in Settings removes the Steam data immediately. To request deletion of analytics data associated with your device, email us at the address below and include the analytics ID shown under Settings → Privacy.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
